Tabby Tiger has evolved over the years, and my focus is now copywriting, content creation and comms
Copy and content (my favourite thing to do)
Just give me a brief and I’ll give you the words! I’ve always loved writing and I can produce press releases, website pages and news items, blogs, articles, promotional materials and more. I enjoy the thought processes behind producing pieces too, so I always consider your organisation’s tone of voice, who the target audience is and where the piece is destined to end up,
Creating, or creating and implementing, comms plans
If you’re stuck in a rut or don’t know where to begin, my wide range of skills and experience means I will be able to consider several ways to communicate with your target audience to suit your budget and aspirations, however small.
I describe myself a ‘jack of all trades’, having previously worked in roles that encompassed copy, content and comms, press, PR, marketing, customer service, social media, brand management, sponsorship, and events. That means I can suggest or work on a multi-channel approach if that is more beneficial than focusing on one area.
Social media management or post creation
Although gaining organic reach is hard for small organisations these days, I believe a social media presence is crucial for everyone. Whatever you do there will be a platform where your target audience hangs out.
I have a good understanding of how best to use Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to help get noticed and meet your objectives whether it’s creating brand awareness, driving traffic to your website or generating leads. I’m a hashtag nerd and like to demonstrate best practice for each platform.
Engagement is vital for social media success; it should never be used as a broadcast-only tool - that just won’t work, and you’ll end up turning your followers off if their comments are ignored. In addition to producing posts for your channel, I have limited availability to respond to comments (where possible), comment on / react to shares and retweets.
If you need elements of the above plus something else, it’s still worth a chat as my network contains very good people I can team up with including photographers, videographers and animators, branded goods producers, website builders, printers and more.
Let’s talk money
When I first started out, I packaged my services up into neat bundles for people to choose from. I soon realised that more flexibility was needed, so I now price each project individually and offer a discounted rate for charities and start-ups.
Although the cost of hiring a freelancer can seem daunting, my clients find that it frees their valuable time up to do other things or focus on the areas they’re best at, so it’s a worthwhile investment.
